We watched “Babel” last night, and I didn’t like it. It seemed really contrived and forced, like the writers and producers or whomever really wanted to make an “important” movie.
I wouldn’t have mentioned this to you if it weren’t November.

I remember seeing this vaguely but not at all what it’s about, so I must not have enjoyed it much either.

I remember this as one of those multi-narrative pieces that you expect is going to come together in some sort of interesting way but it never quite does (sort of like Traffic but not nearly as good).

@Nichole: Mm, maybe. I thought it was more drama than comedy, which was not what I expected. I was unsure how I felt about it and would like a second opinion mostly. But I know I wouldn’t be able to get Mike to watch it, so it seems unfair to sucker other people into it :).
