Toddler dreams
“Get into bed with Mommy?” Poppy asks when I go in to wake her. She requests this most mornings.
I crawl into bed next to her and ask her the usual. “How did you sleep? Did you have sweet dreams?”
She giggles. Then she says:
Did you see that silly Baby Bear? Baby Bear was flying! He was flying to Bert. Bert was so close! That silly Baby Bear was upside-down and down.
Exterminate! And then we'll have a spot of tea.
My dear husband, Nerdly McNerdilson, was showing me a few things that he’d like from the BBC America Shop. One of them was a remote control Dalek (“Unleash terror in all directions with this deluxe machine mutant!”). In the sidebar, BBC America offered a few other items the average “Doctor Who” fan might enjoy.
Apparently, the average “Doctor Who” fan is a pretty, pretty princess.
Behold:

That’s right. It seems the Daleks will be inviting us to tea, with this “charming pink gingham play set.”
