It’s FTC Disclosure Day!

So! The FTC has decided to crack down on bloggers and their pesky little money-making schemes. I’d kind of been ignoring this altogether, because I don’t really make all that much money off this site. But I do make a little bit — and I’ve always tried to tell you when that was happening, such as the rare compensated review — so I probably ought to pay attention. Fortunately, I have Mir at WantNot and Mom-101 in my Google Reader, and they posted handy reminders that today is Disclosure Day!

What does that mean for us? It means I wrote up a Disclosure Page and that I’ll have to remember to add a line of hover text to any affiliate links I use. Everything else will stay pretty much the same, because I’ve always been up-front with you about freebies and giveaways I’ve received.

Once upon a time, there was a little boy who was trapped in his crib. It was day, and he wanted to get out of the crib and play. So he swung his wee leg up and over the crib’s railing!

And his mommy walked in just before he launched himself to the floor, and he gave her a very funny and mischievous little smile.

The End.

(Except it isn’t really the end, because now we need to get a big-boy bed for the li’l fella.)

Happy End of NaBloPoMo, everybody!

I did it!It is an exceptionally gray and drizzly day here at Butterscotch Acres. The good news is, it’s all Christmas cheer inside. We went out to the tree farm yesterday, and Rockford pulled all most of the decor out of the attic. I seem to be missing a box, but that’s OK. Because the tree is up and decorated, and we’ve been taken over by snowmen. I’ll share photos eventually, if I can get the computer to recognize my camera. (Which it hasn’t been doing. Did I tell you that? Very, very irritating.)

Anyway, hi-ho-diddly-day! I need to do some Christmas-list-making.
