A week of food

I’m following in the footsteps of Sandi and Tiffany and joining the Menu Plan Monday movement (for this week, at least). I try to update our weekly menu in the sidebar, but I don’t see any reason to avoid redundancy.

So! Here’s our menu for this week.

Saturday: Sloppy Joes. I used Rachael Ray’s recipe as a basic guideline, and they were fantastic.

Sunday: Spaghetti and meatballs. I made the meatballs Saturday night after the Joes, so Sunday was a very easy meal day.

Monday: Quiche. From a box! Rockford’s Aunt Sally introduced us to these little wonders.

Tuesday: Honey pecan chicken. Another double-up recipe from the “Don’t Panic: Dinner’s in the Freezer” cookbook. I’ll share it if it’s worthwhile.

Wednesday: Hawaiian chicken. A double-up Crockpot recipe! Also from “Don’t Panic.” I’ll share this one, too, if it’s good.

Thursday: Ravioli. One of my favorite simple stand-bys.

We might go out for dinner on Friday. Otherwise, it’ll probably be pizza night. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
