I know there are people who are quite worried about the fate of this year’s Academy Awards ceremony. I will be a little sad if there’s no opportunity to critique the fashions, but I think I’ll get over it pretty quickly.

Little Poppy, I’ve heard, looks a lot like her mother. Rockford calls her “Little Mommy,” and I call her Mini-Me.
After receiving this picture from Rockford’s mom, I’d say we’ve created a Mini-Rockford, too. I can’t tell you how many times a day I see that expression on Pete’s face.
I have a pretty good track record at picking the “American Idol” winners from the initial auditions. I was right about Carrie Underwood and about Jordan Sparks, and I think I’ll be right again this time.
Here’s my pick this year: Michael Johns, the super-cute guy from Australia.
