I love CVS. I have great luck finding things in their clearance section, and I usually have a coupon from their ExtraCare program to make my find even cheaper. Yesterday I went to CVS to pick up some pull-ups for the boy, and I came home with:
two packs of pull-ups (buy one, get one 50% off).
a refill for our bathroom wipes.
two candy bars (two for $1).
three Toy Story toys — Jessie, Woody & Bullseye and a Rex Hot Wheels (all 75% off).
On top of the in-store discounts, I had a coupon for $4 off a $20 purchase. I spent a total of $23 and change, and now I have an extra pack of pull-ups on hand and less shopping to do at Christmas.
If you haven’t signed up for the CVS “loyalty” card, I think you should do so. Our CVS has a neat little kiosk where you scan your card and it prints out coupons, and they almost always have something I need (like, um, Toy Story toys or candy bars. Hm…) on clearance.
So! Shopping at CVS: It works for me.
