Finished!

I may be a digital-scrapbooking convert. I finished the book a few days ago and ordered it from PhotoWorks, and it should be here next week.

This is the first time I’ve done an entire book dedicated to one event, but I was still astonished at how quickly it came together. I finished 20 pages in a little more than a week! That usually takes me months.

I also think digital scrapbooking is less expensive than the “traditional” way for me. The books can get a little expensive (it’s $30 for 20 pages and $1 per page beyond that), but factoring in the cost of books, pages, page protectors, papers, pens, embellishments, etc., and I’m pretty sure digital comes out at a lower cost.

Anyway, here are the finished pages. I’ll try to take some pictures of the book once it arrives!

Digital scrapbooking

I’ve never done a whole scrapbook dedicated to one trip, but Chloe talked me into trying it. I’m going digital for this one, too. If you’re interested, I’m going to post the pages on the Beach scrapbook page (under the Photos tab) as I finish them.

Once I have all of the pages done, I’m going to have the book printed via PhotoWorks. I think it’s going to end up being pretty pricey, but I’m rationalizing it by telling myself that a “standard” scrapbook would probably end up costing just as much once you factor in the album, papers, embellishments, etc. Not to mention the time factor. I’ve found that I can put together a digital page much faster than a traditional one.
