November is for noodle talk

Only the 6th of November, and I’m already struggling to come up with something to say. If it weren’t for NaBloPoMo, I wouldn’t be sharing this with you. But in the name of posting every day, I’ll tell you that tonight we discovered that I don’t like soba noodles. Pete, however, loves them.

I’ve been disappointed with our meals this week. I’m not sure if they’ve really been bad or if I just can’t taste anything.

And we're off

Would you look at that? It’s November. Pete and I are still trying to get over being sick, and we have a first birthday party to plan for next Saturday. And a few weeks after that? Thanksgiving. At our house. Yowzers.

All of that adds up to one thing: No NaNoWriMo for me. Maybe I’ll take next November off and make it happen.

I think I’m going to make a go at National Blog Posting Month, though. Here’s to a month of posting more nonsense than usual!

November is on the horizon

It’s almost November. You know what that means? NaNoWriMo and NaBloPoMo.

Two years ago I participated in National Novel Writing Month (but I cheated) and National Blog Posting Month. I’m thinking about trying NaNoWriMo again this year, but I need some ideas. A plot to build upon. I’m a little tapped, brainwise.

So what do you think? Should I try to write 50,000 words next month? And if you do think I should, toss me some ideas, please!
