The kids have been having a great big fabulous time, and I’ve been reading lots of terrible (and some pretty good) fiction.* We miss Rockford, who is hard at work while we lounge about. Otherwise, though, all is well.

July is likely to be pretty quiet around here. Just so you know. Most probably back by August.
Updated to add: Everything’s fine! We’re just out and about & I won’t have all that much time for writing.
I finished “Infinite Jest” this morning, before the kiddos woke up. I’m still trying to process it; I’m not so good with loose, undefined endings. But I certainly did think about the book constantly over the last however-long-it-took-me-to-read-it. I’ll read it again. I hope Rockford will read it, too. He’s much better at reading Thinkers than I am.
