I woke up in the middle of the night. (That’s not the blessing.) Marsha T. Cat was curled up against me, as usual, and I was petting her in my sleep. It made me laugh. She is a friendly, comforting little thing.

This is what we’re eating
- Monday: Grilled chicken tenders
- Pete’s been asking for chicken for almost every meal lately. Maybe he’s not getting enough protein. Or maybe he just loves chicken.
- Tuesday: Jason’s Deli
- Free kids’ night! I don’t know what I’ll have, but I know it won’t be the Spicy Seafood Gumbo. I tried it last time, and it was not good.
- Wednesday: Spaghetti
- Possibly with meatballs. (But most likely not.)
- Thursday: Eggs & veggie sausages
- Have you tried Morningstar Farms veggie sausage links? You should. I don’t care for the texture of the patties so much, but the links are really good.
- Friday: Pizza
