Monday: Leftover pizza

I was out of town until yesterday afternoon, and we ended up going out for pizza for dinner after I got home. And we had enough leftover to have some more tonight, and I’m all for easy.

Tuesday: Spaghetti

“Angel hair doesn’t sound very good,” Pete said when I was making my grocery list. “It’s just spaghetti,” I told him. And then he was OK with the angel hair.

Wednesday: Fish sticks and mac & cheese

Which is another way of saying it was Poppy’s week for Kids’ Choice night.

Thursday: Chili

I haven’t decided which chili to make just yet. What’s your favorite chili recipe?

Friday: Pizza

  1. There is a southern living recipe called ChooChoo chili. I think it’s in the 1995 cookbook. It’s a personal favorite because you add a little BBQ sauce and a can of BBQ pork to it. I leave out the chili powder and put an envelope of french’s Chili-o instead… I think the texture is perfect and I live the smoky flavor. Mmm we are having a birthday party for my nephew Alex to gift and chili is the main course 🙂 great weather for it!!
