Monday: Sweet & Sour Meatballs
I denied Rockford’s request for Easter dinner this week. Meatballs were his second choice.

Tuesday: Pizza
I think I need to stop planning to go to our favorite local pizzeria, because it gets icy out every time it’s on the menu.
Wednesday: Tacos
I’m trying to get back in the habit of letting the kids have a Kids Choice night. This was Pete’s pick.

Thursday: Omelets
I bought a ton of eggs last week in anticipation of my in-laws staying here with the kids for a few days, and they only used a few of them. We all love omelets, though, so all is well.

Friday: ???
I still don’t have a plan for Friday.

I’m linking this up with OrgJunkie.com’s weekly Menu Plan Monday thing.

  2. I love making my menu out each Sunday night for the week ahead. Helps with the grocery shopping too and keeps from over buying junk…well….kinda…sorta…hehe

    Happy SITS Comment Love Tuesday!!

  3. I have meatballs planned this week. I’m hoping my husband will make them; he’s really good at them! Plus that’s less mess for me! Have you tried a fritatta with all your eggs? That’s one of my go-to recipes when I’m trying to use up eggs!

    Stopping by from #SITSblogging

  4. Too funny about when you head out it gets icy — you must be nearby! haha I wish I was this organized! Every day the kids ask me what’s for dinner and my response is alway, “Who knows!” Gotta get a plan!

  5. I try to plan our meals for the week out on Sunday nights. It makes my life so much easier!! I always forget about breakfast for dinner though…we should do that every so often. I’m excited though that I have already made our dinner for tonight and it’s not even 3 o’clock! 🙂

  6. The great thing about omlettes is that it’s good no matter what time of day. When my first batch (the kids before the twins) was younger, every Friday was make your own mini pizzas. They use to love that.

  7. Looks like a tasty week to me! When the weather gets bad here (in New England), we always order pizza and make the delivery man drive! It is terrible, i know. But we always give an extra generous tip for his efforts.

  8. I’m trying to do better at meal planning this year. We have tacos once a week – one of the best and easiest dinners ever! Love the name of your blog too! I LOVE butterscotch!

  9. Oh I love meatballs…and pizza. I think I am going to come to your house for dinner. I like that you have a kids choice too! Found your blog via SITS.

  10. I really need to start meal planning. I say that every week and haven’t done it yet so I am always woefully unprepared when it’s time to start dinner. Sounds like a delicious week

  11. I love looking at other peoples’ menu plans. I get stuck trying to come up with meals every week and it really helps me to see what others are cooking for their families. Thanks for sharing!

  12. We meal plan each week but sometimes it seems like everything gets switched around due to illness, unexpected outings, etc. Hope your pizza night was ice free!

  13. Meatballs are super yummy! I just started Meal Planning and am still learning what works best for our house…so far it has definitely made shopping and the day of much easier!

  14. I just started meal planning this week. I like the idea of a Kid’s Choice night. I’ll have to try that next week. I’m stopping by from the SITS group.

  15. We do Pizza every Friday (makes that part of my menu planning easy!). Sometimes we go out but the kids’ favorite is when we have “make your own pizza night”, I put out personalized sized pizza doughs for everyone and set out the sauce and toppings 🙂
