Because I’m still 13 at heart

I have never seen “High School Musical,” but White House nearly has me convinced that I need to do so immediately.

Somehow, we ended up with Musical Mango Applesauce(!) cups in our pantry. The lids have trivia questions on them, such as:

  • What sport does Chad participate in at school that might help him caddy for Mrs. Evans?
  • What happens when the Wildcats are on the golf course after the talent show?
  • What summer job does Sharpay offer Kelsi?
  • Now, the lids also include the answers. So I have been somewhat spoiled. But it sounds positively magical. And there’s a character named Sharpay. How can I resist?

So, have you seen it? Should I add it to my Netflix queue? (I know there are 14 sequels now, but I’m just talking about the first one.)

    1. The curiousity got the best of me a couple years ago so I did, indeed, Netflix the first one.

    2. If you have the Disney Channel, there’s really no need for netflixing. It will come on at least once a month. =)

    3. I’ve seen all of the second and third ones and most of the 1st one(I kept falling asleep at the end). The third one is available for instant viewing on Netflix. The trivia questions you posted are from the second one.

I actually bought the soundtrack for the 3rd one during NaNoWriMo for some writing tunes.

Hannah loved it and loves to dance around and sing the songs. Can’t beat that for a an added bonus.

    4. I was all “Sharpay”??? What? “Hi, Sharpay, this is my son Rottweiler”
Haven’t actually seen them, as I do enjoy the relationship I have with my sons and wish to keep it as intact as I can.

    5. I guess I’m still a teen at heart because I love High School Musical (the first one). I just watched the second one this week for the first time and don’t find myself wanting to watch it again (like I did the week I had High School Musical — watched it once while folding laundry with the kids and once while running on the treadmill). I do want to see the third one, though, just to be caught up on teen culture. The first one is worth the time, in my humble musical-adoring opinion.
